Pacific Community focus on strategic development and partnerships at governing meeting

More than 40 member country representatives and development partners are attending the 10th Conference of the Pacific Community (SPC) for the next two days in Noumea.

The theme for the high-level dialogue for this Conference, which will also mark SPC’s 70th anniversary, is “Innovative Partnerships for Sustainable Development.”

Pacific Community launches inaugural newsletter

The Pacific Community (SPC) today launched its inaugural newsletter at the organisation’s annual governance meeting, the Committee of Representatives of Governments and Administrations 47 (CRGA47) in Noumea.

Pacific Progress – Stories from the Pacific Community – is part of the development organisation’s goal to highlight the work it is doing in the region and internationally.

10th Conference of the Pacific Community chaired by Philippe Germain, President of the New Caledonia Government

On 27 July 2017, representatives of the Pacific Community’s 26 members will meet at SPC Headquarters in Noumea for the Conference of the Pacific Community.

This Conference, held every two years, will be chaired by Mr. Philippe Germain, President of the New Caledonia Government, and will also host the leaders of several Pacific countries as well as certain distinguished guests.

The theme chosen for the high-level dialogue for this Conference, which will also mark SPC’s 70th anniversary, is “Innovative Partnerships for Sustainable Development”.
